The chilly rain of early summer carries a peculiar atmosphere. It's brimming with a delicate harmony of contradictions and order.
As it touches the skin amidst the damp and brisk weather, there comes an unexpectedly warm breeze, causing a flutter of excitement. The streets of the city resonate with a vibrant freshness and nauseating scents at the same time.
On cloudy days when everything looks desaturated, there emerges, with tremendous vigor, a vibrant vitality piercing through the heavy-laden air.
The trees along the streets, soaked in water, dash towards the brightness without reflection, vividly penetrating the dullness. The deep greenery is truly majestic, embellishing the space between gray buildings with a brilliant contrast.
In stark contrast to the bold hues, they seem to be withdrawn, yet striking. Amidst the soundless drizzle, the branches, stooping under the rain, draw closer to the ground, almost touching my face.
Yet, in embracing the rain, they become even more beautiful. A sense of delicacy and confidence intertwines as they stand. Broken yet dignified, they exude a quiet and grandeur beauty, almost as if harboring an immense power within, akin to a person concealing tremendous strength.
Before the sun shines its light, within the intense azure hue of a single broken leaf, lies an epic colossal narrative.
Embracing every contradiction, 녹음 綠陰 awaits life to flow according to its own order.
*녹음 綠陰 (greenery) directly translates to “vibrant green shade”
