Drained by the relentless heat,
i sank onto a bench in madison sqaure park,
my gaze drifting upward into the sky.
the sky was swallowed by a thick veil of green leaves,
merging into an uninterrupted mosaic of foilage.
a strong yet tender breeze stirred a few leaves into a delicate dance, and gradually, thousands of leaves moved as one, swaying slowly in union like an unseen tide.
in that stillness, the distinctions between tree, person, and self began to blur, as if reality itself was wavering. where does it begin and where does it end?
time and space started to twist into the unknown.
